I had another Harry Potter Christmas this year. I knit my boyfriend's son a House Hat from Charmed Knits. He's as crazy about Harry Potter as I am.

I wanted to get a picture of my cats for my Christmas cards, but didn't manage to get one taken before my cards went out. On a whim, I stuck a hat on Misu today and he was such a good boy and let me do it. Maybe next year I'll get him his own sweater made.

It's been a long time since I updated my blog. Frankly, I have been too busy to worry about it. It's the time of the Festival of Wreaths again and I have finished my project ahead of schedule. This year I'm expanding on my sweaters and doing sweaters, hats and mittens and calling my wreath "Winter Where?". I have really been enjoying doing these little projects and plan on making a bunch more for the holidays.
On a side note, I am again moving, this time only across the apartment complex. My current apartment is being renovated and I will be moving into a newly renovated unit. I shouldn't say "I" am moving because my honey will be moving along with me and his son will still be living with us on the weekend. I truly feel blessed to have found such a wonderful man. I have grown to love him and his son very much. This year has been full of mixed emotions and blessings and I am thankful for them all.

Last weekend was the dog show and I was finally able to get models of the canine variety. The last couple of weeks have been difficult for me because I have been in a lupus flare and have been having a lot more pain than usual. I'm dealing with a vitamin D deficiency that could be adding to the pain. My doctor put me in 50,000 IU Vitamin D for the next month.

I am a little behind on my posts. I have been busy partying for my birthday. I went bowling on my birthday and I still stink! I bowled a 48 my first game, 96 second game and 54 last game. I am all over the place on my scores. I had a fun time with my friends. Afterwards, we went to my favorite seafood restaurant, High Tide Harry's. Without further ado here is my latest dog sweater for once not modeled by Misu.

I am truly blessed with two very patient kitties. (It's debatable about Tira sometimes.) Misu, is a little trooper and he really does enjoy the process of trying on sweaters. He was actually purring when he was posing for me in this pink sweater. He likes warm and soft things and I think this was his favorite sweater, although it's a bit broad in the chest for a cat. This sweater is more for a pug or Boston terrier. Tira's favorite part of my knitting is helping me with my yarn. I can just imagine what it would be like if my kitties really got into my stash!

I finished another dog sweater that was a little bit smaller than the last one. I thought I would give Tira a try modeling this one. To say the least, she wasn't as compliant as Misu. I did manage to get it on her for a few minutes, but Misu was much happier to wear it.

Misu has been helping me work on my Noles dog sweater and was kind enough to model it for me today. I have been telling everybody he would be wearing a sweater for my Christmas cards and he didn't mind a bit. So just wait until Christmas! I made this sweater for our Posh Pavilion Pooch fundraiser. Last year I made three sweaters and I will probably make the same amount this year.

I haven't been posting on here much lately. I really have gotten a little bit of knitting done. I managed to finish a baby blanket for Baby Hexx. Hexx is one of my wrestlers. I am presently working on a prayer shawl. Unfortunately, I have been doing more cussing than praying. I have finally got the pattern down so now I can get back to some prayerful knitting. I am working on dog sweaters for our dog show again this year. My helpful kitties helped me model my WIPs.

Everything is coming up blue around the Babee Blue residence. (Babee Blue is my screen name for some of the wrestling message boards here in Florida.) Over the past few months I've been working on baby items. I have three friends who are pregnant and all of them are having boys. I have managed to finish one quilt so for for the lovely Kristen from my Tuesday Night Knitting Group. She is due any day now. One of my wrestlers and his wife were expecting a little boy. Ethan was born last week. However I still haven't finished his afghan and bibs. The last little bundle of joy is due some time in June and I will probably make another quilt because I seem to be able to finish them faster. I have been working on my knitting at ever spare moment, including the Smooth Jazz Under the Stars at Baldwin Park.

In my continued effort to knit at as many sporting events as I can, I brought my knitting along to the first play-off game for the Orlando Magic vs. the Raptors. The Magic kicked their butts! Very exciting game. I tried to limit my knitting to half time. My friend Becky was gracious enough to bring me to the game.

I am way behind on doing a post on this blog. Frankly, I just haven't had a lot of time to get much knitting or blogging done. I have managed to make a few things for a fund-raising basket for my agency. We did a spring basket auction and I decided to do a bridal basket. I made the Felted Bracelet Bag from Crazy Aunt Purl and some sachets to put in it. Misu was happy enough to help me model the purse.

I finally finished the Kitti Pi bed from Wendy Knits. Tira and Misu had to check it out before I felted it. I made the bed out of two different yarns. Swerve by Moda Dea and another one that I don't remember the name of but will post later. The Swerve didn't felt as well as the other one. I will post a picture of the felted bed later.
