Not a Sock - Part II

I've started working on my first lace shawl. (Well, actually I could probably say it's my second attempt at lace knitting.) I tried last year when I was still relatively inexperienced and it was a disaster. This time I picked a relatively simple pattern and I am using the laceweight that I got from a web site that shall remain nameless that has horrible customer service and very inaccurate dying methods. Needless to say, I usually hate the color yellow, but it's turning out okay. I still have to decide if I'm going to keep it. The color I ordered was supposed to be blue and gold like a Macaw, not lemon yellow and light blue.

I like the colors. Looks very summery!
Good luck w/the lace.

Ooh, I wonder if I can guess what company you're talking about - the one I'm thinking of used to be on Etsy but is now no longer - my theory is because they can control their positive comments on their own blog.

Great shawl! I'm making one that looks pretty similar.
