The Mighty Ox will once again reign supreme in his new socks! I will definitely get him to model them at the next show. Here they are in the Royalty colorway from Seacoast Yarns courtesy of Jackie's Fine Yarns.

I got to hang out backstage at the NWA Copa de Lucha show in Kissimmee. I would have liked to have seen more of the Luchas, but unfortunately there were a few no shows. But I did manage to get a few pictures snapped. I will be posting pictures later in the week of my Ox Socks which should be finished by Wednesday.

I've been getting so many great packages in the mail this week. Today I received a package from my Socknitters April Fools Swap Partner, Heather. She sent me a package chock full of goodies (there were some Godiva chocolates but they were done before I took the picture). Other edible goodies includes some other cream filled chocolates which I die for every time I'm in Borders and some neat varieties of hot chocolate. She also included a pretty coffee mug for me to put the hot chocolate in. On the knitting front there was some lovely Knit Picks sock yarn and a pattern to go with it, as well as some stitch markers. Thanks so much to Heather!
Especially, Kat my pal from the Favorite Color Swap! She really out did herself. First off she sent me some lovely yarn - blue alpaca, and purple Cha Cha, and some lovely blue boucle. She also sent me a lilac smelling candle (how did she know I miss Minnesota lilacs?) and some stickers. I already have plans for the alpaca, I really want to make a Tam from the Tams book, but I'm afraid to try one of the tams with color changes yet, so this will be a good start. Thank you so much, Kat!

I finished the first Ox sock and decided to make a mini version to use as a name tag for one of my knitting groups. My goal is to eventually have mini versions of all my socks to decorate a Christmas wreath for the Festival of Wreaths fund-raiser for work. As you can see Ox has a "Mighty" big foot. These are the biggest socks I have made thus far, and I'm really happy with everything about them. Ox is going to look pretty spiffy in them and they will go perfect with his blue suit. I should have Ox's other sock done by the weekend. Next in line is a Tidal Wave sock out of Tofutsies.

Yep, I'm an Uber Dork. My wrestling friends think I'm silly because I post wrestling pictures on my knitting blog. Well, why not? My two favorite things in one place. The reason why I bring this up is I finished my Morpheus scarf and was going to have a friend take a picture while I was all dressed up, but I forgot. But I did get my picture taken with the hunky WCW wrestler, Glacier and I have my scarf on. So without further ado here is my latest finished project with a hunky wrestler!

I finished my first lace scarf tonight using the Morpheus pattern and Morehouse yarn that my Winter Scarf swap partner sent me. Unfortunately, my camera is in New York with hubby so I can't take a picture at this time. It matches the shirt I'm planning on wearing when I go out to the wrestling match tomorrow, so perhaps my girlfriend, Melinda will take a picture. I'm so excited about how it turned out. It really was an easy project, it only took me a few days. I'm back to work on my Ox Sox.
