I'm not a turkey anymore.

I finally finished my first pair of socks. They turned out a little big. I'm going to try a size smaller needles for my next pair for my hubby. Speaking of needles. I noticed my Size 2 circulars are two different sizes. The Crystal Palace ones are 2.75 mm and the Addi's are 3.0 mm. I had to go out and buy another one to make a matching pair. I decided to go with another Addi.

Those are beautiful. Make sure you keep making socks for you and not just hubby.

Thank you kindly! I've got enough sock yarn to make me about 15 pairs, so no problem there :) Plus, I just joined a sock of the month club!

Love your socks! Your blog is wonderful too. I live in Punta Gorda and knit as much as I can but would love to be able to knit more. Take care.. Kathie in Fl.

Brilliant - well done!. I'm a complete newbie and am still knitting long straight things - my current project is a draught excluder but I hope to graduate to hats and socks in the near future. Love your posts, check out my blog at http://knittinginstructions.blogspot.com

Ha! I had the exact same thing happen to me with Addis. Mine were double points. I was knitting two socks at the same time toe up, one on Addis and one on Inox. My addi sock is quite bigger and I am ripping it out. Why don't they come with a warning sticker?
